KYIV, Ukraine (AP) - A light plane crashed in Ukraine's southern city of Odesa on Wednesday, killing one and injuring another, local police said in a statement.
Images of the crash site released by the Odessa Police Department show a damaged plane lying on the road without its landing wheels. Police say they are investigating the cause of the accident.
A statement said there were two people on the plane. One died on the spot and another was injured.
Ukrainian media have identified the Y1 Delphine as a four-seat single-engine aircraft developed and produced in Odesa many years ago.
