The French economy will remain normal until mid-2022

France's central bank says the country's economy will return to coronavirus levels by mid-2022.

The Bank of France said the French economy would shrink by about 10% this year, with unemployment expected to hit 11.5% next year.

The two phases of France's lockdown relaxation began on June 2, ending the 100 km (62 miles) journey. Most bars and restaurants have reopened outside.

The head of the government's Scientific Advisory Council said on Friday that the epidemic was under control in France.
