Brighton I Best Premier League Issue Tally

Brighton & Hove Albion are aiming for maximum points from the last two games of this season as they look to secure their best Premier League points, manager Graham Potter said Saturday.

Brighton, who have 37 points from 36 games, are three points away from their highest level of 40, with their first top-flight season in 2017-18.

On the Potter side, 16th in the standings and six points clear from the charge zone, Burnley hosted Newcastle United, who finished 13th on Monday, ahead of the tour.

"We want to reach the 43 marks," Potter told reporters. "Same intent and we will try to do that."

Defender Benjamin White, who spent the season at Leeds United on loan and helped advance to the Premier League, has been linked with a permanent move from Brighton.

"We see Ben as part of his plan. Everyone won, they had a great experience and Leeds got their promotion goal," Potter said of the 22-year-old.

"We rate her very much. I follow her career closely. We like her very much."

Potter has confirmed that winger Elza Jahanbakhsh, who was drawn 1–1 in Southampton on Thursday due to a hamstring injury, is ready to return. Defender Adam Webster has a hip problem and will be evaluated.
