The National Accountability Bureau, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Tuesday issued a call-up notice to Fazlur Rehman, head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F), alleging that his team would be investigated next month.

The notice issued under section 19 of the National Accountability Ordinance 1999 was sent’ to Rehman's residence in Dera Ismail Khel.

The article in the notice, viewed by Dawn.com, states that the inquiry is against former MNA Rehman and others "on corruption and methods of corruption/collection of assets".

He said an investigation into the matter had revealed that Rehman "had information/evidence related to the [[]] crime commission."

The notice called on the JUI-F chief to appear before the CIT (Joint Investigation Team) at the NAB Regional Office on October 1 at 11 am to "file his statement / application in the investigation of the article". Do ".
